80% = 8/10 = 4/5

Complete the relevant questions on pg 237:

Easy (ier) Homework - pg 237 - Qn 1 and 2 only.
Medium Homework - pg237 - Qn 4 and 5 only.
Hard (er) Homework - pg 237 - Qn 6 and 8 only.

Dedicated Mathematician - Questions -1,2,4 and 5 OR 4,5,6 and 8

All star - Questions - 1,2,4,5,6 and 8

Equation Exterminator - ALL
 
Students should complete the check-up exercise on page 54 of their MIA book 1. This homework will take sometime and the students should try to spread it out over a number of nights during the next week and a half. Any problems come and see me.
 
Students should complete the multiplication tasks set on mymaths.co.uk and attempt to finish off any extra outstanding tasks.
 
The new Timetable starts this week and everyone moves up a year. So the first years are now second years. For homework updates please ensure you subscribe to the correct RSS feed.

S1 students should be revising for a class test which wil be held on Thursday.

Their next homework will be focussed on consolidating any areas of the test where they underperformed
 
Students have been given 3 sheets - 'Deductive Reasoing 1', 'Deductive Reasoning 2' and 'Sick as a Parrot'. This has 5 puzzle questions of increasing difficulty and students should complete all questions to the best of their ability.

It will be easier to attempt them in order.

I know a number of students are already good at their timestables but they really are very important.

Our aim is to have everyone in the class know their times tables from 1 to 12 and be able to recall them in less than 3seconds!

If students don't have to think as much about the arithmetic they can focus more on the concepts being taught.

On Monday we'll have a timestables test to see how everyone got on.
